The spirit of the season is love - buying all the junk is unnecessary. Put up what decorations you have, sing some carols, pop some popcorn and watch the Xmas specials on TV. Promise the kids and each other that when you get a few bucks together you’ll have a late Xmas. When the kids are in bed make love on the carpet by the tree if you have one. Does it ever happen to you that somebody accidentally touches your body, but you like it?
Yes it does, it only happened yesterday to be honest, I was out doing some Xmas shopping and had a girl come past me and our right breasts bumped and firmly rubbed across each other, I did enjoy the feeling a lot.
Went thru a year where eldest as preschooler, daughter was afraid of the Xmas tree. So, used distract ,redirect ,reward. It's connected to desensitization sort of. Method to cause her to be gradually less afraid until she was no longer afraid anymore . Involved cookies and hugs as the reward. Also, had a Xmas tree book and song worked fine. Took about a week.

How many leprechauns would it take to put up a Christmas tree?
Leprechauns have nothing to do with Christmas trees but if they did it would be something mischievous like tearing it down. If you are looking for small supernatural creatures to put up your tree, you want to engage some of the nisser or tomte from Scandinavia or maybe the Jolasveinar of Iceland. But they are not cheap and are pretty busy this time of year. My best advice is to buy one of those artificial trees that just unfolds as you pull it from its bag.
Does playing Christmas music earlier in the year make people spend more money on Christmas?
The garbage played over the PA in shopping malls encourages me to get my shopping finished quickly & leave before it drives me mad. I detest the intrusion of pop music which I didn’t like the first time I heard it being forced upon me in shops, I’ve left more than one shop because of the music before now & everyone I speak to agrees with me that it’s an unnecessary racket.
How are you going to spend Christmas this year?
This year, at 23 years old, is going to be my first year not spending Christmas at my mum’s house. I am working on Boxing Day, public transport isn’t available, and there would be no way to get home in time for my shift.
So this year, I’m going to be having a bittersweet Christmas with my nephew, his mum, and her family, whilst no doubt video calling my mum, step-dad, and younger siblings.
Even though I don’t get to spend it with my usual family, I still get to spend it with other family, surrounded by love and festivities, and for that I am so grateful.
