Your cat is territorial, like most cats are. A new kitten is an unwelcome intruder in your cat’s mind. Therefore, you should ease their anxiety and introduce them gradually. Frankly, I find it outright bizarre, like I want to explore this topic with some smart social psychologist or something. Why did the liberal-sphere feel the need to become so outraged? Kathy blamed Trump but it was liberals who canceled her. I have the feeling that there was this unspoken/unconscious group consensus to sacrifice one of their own to gain the moral high ground so that later they could attack Trump from a higher vantage point? That is the only way this makes sense to me. So all these people just sort of go along with being outraged against her. It’s weird. All of the Conjuring Universe! The ratings were for the amount of terror. And the story lines are pretty violent and mature. So I’m glad you’re watching with your parents. My folks were the same way. I never understood the logic that violence is more acceptable for an adolescent to see than sex.

I worked Knott’s Berry Farms Halloween haunted house attraction. I would pose as a statue behind a wall until the biggest toughest looking guys would come by. Just as they passed me and my two-faced mask, I would swing my Viking axe towards them and scream. 300lb football players running away is hilarious. Who cares? I don’t understand the hysteria over it. A comedian “went too far” with a Halloween mask and some ketchup - oh heavens to Betsie! What is happening with civility these days? No Halloween masks were harmed in this prank.

An ex friend of mine knew I loved Halloween so she bought me a Halloween sign that said ‘Boo to you’. I always thought it was tacky, acted like I liked it because I felt she was thinking of me. It never sat right with me and as time went on she became unbearable. I do not speak to her anymore. Halloween. Synchronized swimming. Horror movies. Extreme/ dangerous activities like mountain climbing, snake handling, walking on hot coals, running with the bulls, etc. Sex change and cross dressing, massive wars and ethnic cleansing, large scale pollution, suppressing huge technological advances for military advantage, organized dancing like square dancing or clogging or the hokie pokie. We humans are a strange lot. I wonder if aliens have a sense of humor like ours and laugh at us? Where ever a plastic Halloween pumpkin is found, it need to be replaced by a field-grown pumpkin.

I remember watching Halloween 6 for the first time back in the mid 90s and was surprised at how gory it was. The franchise never had a reputation for being ultra violent. I say the same for Psycho III. once, years ago we decided we needed to eat around more verses jack in the box 6 times in one year. So, we can only go to each restaurant 3 times a year total so we space it out. Like pizza on new year's day, the superbowl and a Halloween pizza party so you have to be creative in spacing it out. Some places we never eat at like McDonald's, chipotle, subway, arbys, dunkin, carl jr, burger king, Cesar's, Domino's, so only once per restaurant each month. That would depend on how innately talented a person was……I saw one guy (Villaine?) on Halloween wars, who for years carved pumpkins try….for the first time to sculpt a demon out of eatable modeling chocolate and it was great…..he could just DO it.
