The problem was we didn’t trust the system and formed the Security Council staffed by the victorious superpowers of the time - US, UK, France, Russia, and China with veto power over other nations and the sole power of international offensive actions.

However, I would suggest you start with his mom and share that you would like to learn some of her son’s favorite recipes so that you can ensure you can fix them for him. Offer to go over to her home, or have her come to yours and plan on taking extensive notes. I’m sure she would be honored that you called her and she would love to help you.

Don’t play games trying to “catch” him lying about your food… this just puts you at the same juvenile level he is acting at.
