Biden and Trump Clowns Jokers to the left to the right shirt

14 years ago, Kimi Räikkönen was able to win the championship in perhaps the second best car on the grid, thanks to in-team fighting and dirty politics at McLaren.

In the last 10–11 years, only Alonso has come close to winning the championship in the second/third fastest car (with his tremendous drives in Ferrari). However, even that level of skill was not sufficient to win the championship (due to unlucky accidents and poor strategy calls by Ferrari). After that, till this year, Mercedes had been so dominant that no driver could have won the championship in the second best car.

This year, Red Bull is starting to look like the best car with Mercedes being slightly slower. However, it is still mathematically possible that Hamilton can win the championship. It is a tough ask but if Red Bull has some reliability problems, than Hamilton can win the championship in the second best car.

However, if Red Bull can maintain reliability and continue to produce fastest pit-stops, it is most likely that Max will win his first championship. In short, it is very very hard to win the championship in not the best car.

Ah the age old question about cats clawing furniture

Ah the age old question about cats clawing furniture. While it’s not impossible to stop this behavior, it is possible to deflect the tendency using creative ways. As David mentioned below, plastic on the areas that are being used as a scratching post are helpful. There are a couple of small companies that make various sizes of clear plastic adhesive strips just for this. I have a few on my couches as well. I also place cardboard scratching boxes next to my couches. When I see or hear my cats scratching on furniture I say a firm “NO” and move them to their scratching pads. Consistency is key but never hit a cat for any reason. Of course there are certain types of weaves that attract scratching more than others. We have some furniture that they never scratch and others that they love, particularly any fabric with a “knobby” weave. As one last idea, we have to throw blankets that we put on the arms of certain furniture which discourage this behavior as well. I have attached a picture that shows the three I’ve described above that I use on one couch in my house. Good luck!

Four of my foster cats were very feral when I got them and they are still very challenging in getting them domesticated enough for a forever home (got them at 4 months old and they are almost 2 years old now). You will find this all to be very interesting and wonderful … for both you AND the cat(s) you decide to foster.

There are MANY facilities looking for people wanting to foster, so you’ll not have much difficulty. Be prepared to do all the things that a cat owner will be doing as well … vet visits, medical care, etc. Also, find out if the facility you foster from is set up to help you if the cat gets sick or if you will have to pay out of pocket. I’m fostering seven cats and everything comes out of my pocket for their care. Realize that some cats have health issues existing and are more difficult for these facilities to find a home for, so if you do decide to foster an ailing cat, be sure to find out if you’ll get any reimbursement for their medicines, vet visits, etc. Some cats just have a behavior issue that could be rectified by your fostering. Due to overcrowding, you can foster lots of cats or kittens. The hardest part for me is saying goodbye once they get adopted. Realize, too, that you aren’t limited to fostering just one cat!

It is very easy to become a cat foster parent. Contact your local shelters and Humane Society or any other facilities that are adopting cats out to forever homes. Just start dialing. You’ll want to set yourself up with materials in your home as well and do some prep work to your house to make the process go more smoothly (litter, litter box, bedding, ceramic/glass water and food bowls, cat food, etc.). I find that clearing out a bathroom in my house (remove all breakables and toilet paper) is one of the first steps as a place to begin introducing a foster cat to my house. I put the pet carrier (with the door wide open) in the shower stall with bedding inside. Some wand toys and other toys like small toy balls help, too, since cats and kittens love to play.
