Lindell, like trump, is just a liar. Karma will have a go at him. Patience is a virtue. So, Lindell can just prove his stupidity a that he wants. He has proved repeatedly to all that he has no idea what the US Constitution says, let alone means. Let him exercise his 1st amendment rights, even though he has no idea what it is. Besides, it is not illegal to lie, no matter how serious the lie. Maybe he will tell the truth when he is called to testify to Congress and the courts.

The two proverbs are often considered to convey the same meaning and offer the same advice.

The two proverbs are often considered to convey the same meaning and offer the same advice. In fact, sometimes the one is used as a loose, paraphrase-like, meaning-based translation of the other. The general idea is that one needs to be very careful of one’s milieu and acquaintances. That said, if I had to find differences between the two, I’d say the English proverb focuses more on company with the wrong kind of people, whereas the Greek one emphasizes getting into problematic situations instead (or, in general). Notice how dogs are individual beings, hence they stand for people, but the brain isn’t. Another point of divergence is what the two proverbs warn about. Again, the English one is almost completely about adopting bad habits, personified by the fleas. On the contrary, the Greek one is about getting yourself in danger. It’s not that you necessarily change, but that you’re asking for trouble.

Border collies are not considered hypoallergenic.

Border collies are not considered hypoallergenic. Now different people seem to react more or less to some breeds then others, but in general border collies are not a good choice for people that are allergic to dogs. Same is true with mixed breeds, including doodles. It’s a gamble. You never know. A lot of them are not hypoallergenic as adults. What makes poodles a better choice for those with allergies has nothing to do with shedding. Their coat actually has a different protein structure then other breeds. So if you react to poodles, you're allergic to poodles but could be fine with other dogs, and vice versa. I’m very allergic to most dogs, but I do fine with my standard poodles. Poodles are the most recommended breeds for those with dog allergies for many reasons. But my recommendation would be to find owners and spend time around their dog to see if you react. As many different dogs of that breed as possible. That is the best way to know if YOU will react to them or not.

You need to contact different service dog organizations, or consider hiring a private trainer.

You need to contact different service dog organizations, or consider hiring a private trainer. Your biggest obstacle will likely be cost. Service dogs aren’t cheap, and most organizations do not have the grants or funding to pay for the training and care that goes into fully training a service dog and placing it with a handler. Most of them will ask the handler to pay the majority of this cost, which can be in excess of $10,000. You will also need to get a written recommendation from your psychiatrist, therapist, or other medical professional treating you. No reputable organizations or trainers will take you seriously without this. Many of them have additional forms or paperwork that will need to be filled out and signed by your care provider prior to them working with you. And expect a long wait. Most organizations have a 2+ year wait once your application has been approved. The demand for these dogs typically always exceeds their ability to train and place dogs with handlers. Not every puppy they start will work out as a service dog, and they only have the ability to work with so many puppies/young dogs at a time.

I recently adopted a 1 year old rescue a few weeks ago

I recently adopted a 1 year old rescue a few weeks ago. Her crate is placed in my hallway because it’s the only room downstairs safe for her to be alone at night and it also has wood floors unlike my other rooms downstairs. She has taken a liking to my dad and growls at the rest of my family but she isn’t nasty at all. She is also untrained and skittish so she doesn’t come to us when called and wary of her surroundings. During the day she can roam the house but at night I like to close the doors and keep her in just the hallway with her crate that she sleeps in. However, we have to use a lead on her to get into the hallway because she doesn't follow us when called. We have also tried using treats and toys as a lore but she doesn’t get interested in them. Lately she has been laying down when I try to lead her from the living room to the hallway and she won’t move at all. I’m not sure if she’s scared of something or if it’s the lead that’s the problem but any advice would be appreciated! Many thanks.

That’s about all you could have done at the time.

That’s about all you could have done at the time. Now it is too late to do anything. When I was a kid and lived out in the sticks I had a Bantam hen that was so gentle I could walk up to her and pick her up and she would make no effort to avoid me. One night my 1 year old dog got his blood up and tore that chicken to shreds. My mother took a fly swatter and chased that dog around the yard sticking a wing off that hen in his nose, yelling BAD DOG and beating him with that fly swatter. Every time he tried to escape she chased him down and did it again until she was totally exhausted. That dog never got with in sniffing distance of a chicken the rest of his life, and he lived a long and otherwise happy one.

Mayonnaise is not toxic to dogs, which means that if they eat it, they will not experience any acute illness. In fact, one could argue that mayonnaise is not dangerous to dogs.

All Pet Magazine: “Mayonnaise is not toxic to dogs, which means that if they eat it, they will not experience any acute illness. In fact, one could argue that mayonnaise is not dangerous to dogs. However, feeding mayonnaise to dogs could lead to an excess of fat in the dog’s diet and have negative health effects in the long term.” Rover.com: “ While mayo isn’t toxic, it’s high in fat and is not a healthy choice to feed your dog. If you feed your dog mayo or other fatty foods on a regular basis, your dog may experience various weight gain problems including excessive strain on your dog’s heart and joints. Dogs that are overweight or obese may also develop pancreatitis or diabetes.” I went through tons of articles but only put a few here because they all said the same thing. Mayonnaise is technically not bad for dogs but like many other human foods we give our pets if given in excess can lead to problems. That reminded me of something my vet told me a long time ago, if something is bad for us then assume it’s also bad for the dog. I hope everyone finds this information helpful.
