You need to contact different service dog organizations, or consider hiring a private trainer. Your biggest obstacle will likely be cost. Service dogs aren’t cheap, and most organizations do not have the grants or funding to pay for the training and care that goes into fully training a service dog and placing it with a handler. Most of them will ask the handler to pay the majority of this cost, which can be in excess of $10,000. You will also need to get a written recommendation from your psychiatrist, therapist, or other medical professional treating you. No reputable organizations or trainers will take you seriously without this. Many of them have additional forms or paperwork that will need to be filled out and signed by your care provider prior to them working with you. And expect a long wait. Most organizations have a 2+ year wait once your application has been approved. The demand for these dogs typically always exceeds their ability to train and place dogs with handlers. Not every puppy they start will work out as a service dog, and they only have the ability to work with so many puppies/young dogs at a time.
