If it is under 12 weeks old it is too young for flea meds to be used on them but you can give them a lukewarm bath under running water with plain dish detergent & this will kill any fleas on the kitten. Towel kitten thoroughly dry with a clean towel. You can dry their fur with a hair dryer if you are careful to hold it about a foot away from the kitten at all times & you keep moving it so it doesn’t stay on one spot more than a couple of seconds so you won’t burn its skin. You can put a heating pad on the lowest setting under half of the kitten’s bed. Do not put the kitten directly on the heating pad bc kittens will urinate on their bedding just like a baby does in a diaper & you don’t want to get the pad wet or burn the kitten. If it is underneath half then the kitten can crawl off the heating pad if it gets overheated. I usually put kittens in a plastic tub with a lid & holes punched in the top for air ventilation or put them in a carrier with a clean hand towel. It is best to put the pad under half the plastic tub or carrier.
