These anime will tend to have less consistent art and animation so maybe brace yourself for that but often have good stories and likeable characters in spite of this. Whether you like it or not, a lot of anime will contain fanservice. While fanservice covers a range of things and involves wish fulfilment within the story, like certain couples getting together, all the females banding together to defeat a villain despite not knowing each other, or a character developing a power supported only very vaguely by formerly revealed information, training, or experiences, some of it can be more than simply illogical, it can also be inappropriate. Fanservice involving nudity, near nudity, questionable and hard to explain poses, inappropriate actions, etc… can be controversial. While some people love it, others dislike it, either because they hate how oversaturated anime can sometimes seem with it, or because it’s illogical, discomforting and sometimes morally questionable or reprehensible.
