While at Harvard Law School, Kennedy was president for the Committee on Sports and Entertainment Law. She also served as coordinator of Harvard's first Internet Conference, where she moderated Bill Gates' keynote speech. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Japanese language and a minor in economics, and cum laude from Harvard Law School. Kennedy is a founding member of the Heart Ambassadors for Children's Hospital Los Angeles and is very active in fundraising for the hospital. She also serves on the board of trustees at The Laurence School and is co-chair of their DEI committee.
