On the less extreme end, this includes the allowed redemption of bullies in shows like My Hero Academia, A Silent Voice and other shows, and on the more extreme end the redemption of villain after villain in Fairy Tail, or antagonists in complicated/sympathetic situations like in Black Clover, or the second chance at life that the main character from Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation receives despite his initially rather despicable behaviours that don’t completely go away even in his next life making him still a work in progress that not everyone would be comfortable with watching on screen. A lot of anime is based off on a manga. It might end up adding filler and anime canon content onto it, and depending on what sort of person you are, you might prefer reading the manga over watching the anime, much like some people might prefer reading the books over watching the movies or seeing the series, as they might view the movie/series as doing a disservice to the book that they see as superior.
