Listen, I really appreciate the effort. It was very fun to read but honestly, I don’t think that the person in charge of Rey’s Spotify playlist knew Rey’s fate when they made this. Official Philippines Flag Sun I’m not late! I’m just filipino time! shirt. At best, the person kinda ships Reylo or Finn/Rey, at worst they just fulfilled the playlist with random songs made by most popular young women and energetic pop artist that Spotify wants to promote. Love is one of the most used themes in songs. So yeah, of course, that you will have some love songs among those 53 very popular songs. In my opinion, the playlist is mostly there to remind you of the optimistic and wild side of Rey’s character rather than give you some hints or innuendo about the romantic relationship (either with Kyle, either with Finn). I mean just look at Kylo Ren’s playlist, most of the song scream “emo”, “dark” and “tortured”.
