Plywood is not consistent in hardness throughout the material. There are knots and other anomalies thru out the sheets. good thing I don’t hunt plywood…..I’ve shot rage extreme chisel tips for years and have busted shoulders and everything else with them. never failed me once, Rage was the only one that opened on impact so obviously, it could not push 2″ through ..the others all opened after impact so it’s like shooting into the plywood with a field trip.
